Harvest information must be entered into ISportsman even if you have entered it into the State database.  Failure to do so will result in loss of hunting privileges.

CHECK STATION REQUIREMENT – It is mandatory that all harvested deer and turkey be checked in and documented at a designated check-in point for weight documentation and must be reported in the new ISPORTSMAN online game check program. Hunters are also required to submit an inside mouth photo to Natural Resources (daniel.m.spillers.civ@army.mil) of all harvested deer to clearly reveal the upper side of the “lower jaw rear teeth”. Should hunters be discovered not reporting online a harvested deer within 24 hours, their permit shall be revoked for one (1) year following the offense.

Senior Citizen, 100 Disabled, and Incentive Permits Require Validation at ODR and Must be Obtained at ODR.  Other Permits can be Purchased Online.

DANGER

Follow the 3Rs for Explosives Safety

Because of live-fire training, both past and present, it is possible to encounter munitions while on Fort Novosel.  It is your responsibility to be aware of your surroundings, stay within your assigned areas, avoid off-limits areas, and know the procedures in the event you encounter munitions. No matter what you call it — ammo, explosives, UXO, duds or souvenirs — remember munitions are dangerous and can explode if approached, touched, moved or disturbed.

Follow the 3Rs:

Recognize - when you may have encountered a munition and that munitions are dangerous.
Retreat - do not approach, touch, move, or distrub it but carefully leave the area.

Report - call Range Operations at (334) 255-4303 and advise them of what you saw and the general location.
